Corn Resistant Starches: Dr. Ramer-Tait

Dr. Amanda Ramer-Tait, Assistant Professor in the UNL Food & Science Technology department, dives into a deep explanation of her research of the effects of corn resistant starches on the human gut. Through these studies she hopes to be able to recommend corn products to consumers thus creating a market. This would create incentive for corn growers to grow these beneficial types of corn and leave a positive impact on the agricultural world. Ramer-Tait’s research is graciously supported by the Nebraska Corn Board.
