A Closer Look at Sweet Corn Research

A feature story about Dr. Marcio Resende, an assistant professor of Horticultural Sciences.


Tommy Burnes and Gage Chancey are communication and leadership development undergraduate students in the Agricultural Education and Communication Department at the University of Florida. The two students spent time with Dr. Marcio Resende who is an assistant professor in the Horticultural Sciences Department at the University of Florida. Dr. Resende focuses his research on refining sweet corn to have a sweeter taste and a more visually appealing look. Burnes and Chancey have developed content for you to get to know about Dr. Resende and his sweet corn research.
