A Passion for Conservation

A feature story about Hope Miller and her love for conservation.

Hope Miller is a junior at the University of Florida majoring in forest resources and conservation. Miller is an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Raelene Crandall’s lab at the University of Florida where she studies the effects of prescribed burn in the pine savanna ecosystem. Miller takes her love for conservation a step further by communicating about it with the hopes that the public will understand the benefits of prescribed burning. Charlotte Yanes, a University of Florida agricultural education and communication student, developed a photo essay about Miller and her work.
