At Streaming Science, we want to know: How has COVID-19 impacted the scientific enterprise and scientists’ lives?
Some scientists and graduate students had to put their research on hold during the pandemic and shift to working from home. They had to limit lab and field work due to social distancing and preventative guidelines – and after some time, they are able to transition back to the lab and field following new health protocols.
In this track, we talk with Dr. AJ Reisinger – Assistant Professor of Urban Soil and Water Quality in the UF/IFAS Department of Soil and Water Sciences at the University of Florida. Reisinger discusses how COVID-19 impacted he and his students’ research and work life balance experiences during the spring and summer 2020 semesters.
