Exploring Florida’s Fisheries with Leslie Sturmer

This is part of a series of photo essays about UF/IFAS Nature Coast Biological Station (NCBS) in Cedar Key, Florida. In this series, AEC students showcased the people working at NCBS, their research with the living shorelines, and collaborating with the local community. Check out this photo essay by Kyle Knaack as he highlights how Leslie Sturmer, a UF/IFAS Aquatic Shellfish Agent, serves Florida’s shellfish industry by offering services to producers and by aiming to advance the state’s fishery industry.
