The Wonders of Soil with Dr. Yamina Pressler

MEET DR. YAMINA PRESSLER

She is not your average soil scientist, she’s more than that. Being an educator, an artist, as well as a soil scientist, her passion for the soil brings a lot to the table. Having worked on her undergraduate at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received her bachelor’s of science degree in Environmental Management and Protection, Pressler did not think about having an academic career. She recognized how rewarding this job can be through one of her past Cal Poly professors, Dr. Karen Vaughan, who is now a Professor of Pedology at the University of Wyoming. Valorie Wolf, Riley Jensen, and Madison Martella highlight Dr. Yamina Pressler and her research in this photo essay.
