This project is part of our Nature Narrative photo essay series, which focuses on different nature sites in the state of Florida. Students visited their selected sites and gave detailed descriptions of their experiences and the scenery around them, while highlighting aspects of the environment that are important to the state of Florida.
Olivia Doyle is a Florida native and recently graduated from the AEC agricultural communication masters program at the University of Florida. She enjoys spending time in Florida’s natural areas boating, fishing, and otherwise exploring with friends and family. She was a graduate assistant for the UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Dean’s Office and a communication assistant for the UF/IFAS Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants where she has learned about aquatic and invasive plants and the impact they have on Florida and its native plant communities.
