Streaming Science continues to identify emerging technology to further assist in our mission to introduce public audiences to real-world scientists and critical agricultural and environmental research.
An excellent resource for educators across the globe is our Streaming Science Google Classroom. We have created a “Community of Practice” for science educators, communicators, and Extension educators with guides to using emerging instructional and communication techniques and technologies. In the Google Classroom, you will find helpful resources to apply these exciting, new methods of education to your teaching plans. Join us to access teaching guides and resources about topics such as:
- Podcasting
- Virtual reality
- Video production
- And more!
The community aspect of the classroom is just that – we encourage you to contribute to the Streaming Science conversation, share your own experience teaching science communication and education tools and approaches, and give constructive feedback to help us all be the best community of educators we can be!
As the name suggests, the Google Classroom requires a Google account. As part of the Google suite of apps, participation in our Streaming Science Classroom is free!
