This photo essay is part of a series about the University of Florida’s (UF) Field and Fork farm and gardens. Field and Fork addresses food insecurity on campus by growing produce for the student pantry and giving students opportunities to work and learn on the farm.

UF Agricultural Education and Communication students Alexa Switzer and Brenna Sturgis interviewed Dr. Shelly Johnson about the importance of bats to Field and Fork.
