These project are part of our Boundless Science photo essay series and were created in partnership with the University of Florida’s Plant Science Program.
Dr. Carrie Adams is an Associate Professor and researcher at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Department of Environmental Horticulture. Dr. Adams educational journey and research interests have taken her across the United States. Adams focuses on plant and ecology restoration in her research, and those project take her to lakes, forests, wetlands, and other ecosystems throughout Florida. Nikki Zubowicz and Dylan Pace, University of Florida agricultural education and communication students, developed a one-pager and photo essay about Adams and the research she conducts.
